Marshall Elwood "Butch" Magruder Jr., 56 of Lonaconing, born October 26, 1953
passed away very peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior with his loving family by his
side at the Western Md Regional Medical Center on Tuesday July 13, 2010.

Butch was preceded in death his father Marshall Sr., his brothers Donald, David and
Bob and his grandparents Barb and Delbert Streets and James and Leona Magruder.

He is survived by his loving wife Jackie Hinzy Magruder, two daughters Bessie
Magruder and fiance' Rupe, Becky Magruder of Lonaconing and Jherika Winkler of
Cresaptown who Butch considered as a daughter. Three grandchildren: Sadie, Alijah
(Buddy Boy) and Emma. A
lso surviving are his mother Alice Magruder of
Midland. His
sister Marcia McMahon and husband T
im of Midland. His brothers Dick Magruder and
wife L
inda of Westernport and John Magruder and wife Beth of Frostburg. Also
surviving are his uncle Jim Magruder and Betsy of Gilmore and aunt Donna Wilhe

and husband Dallas of Barton and aunt Shirley Perando of Purgitsville. Also surviving

                   are ,numerous nieces and nephews, cousin

Butch was a 1971 graduate of Valley High School and was a retired logger and heavy
equipment operator start
ing from the age of 16. He enjoyed working in his garden,
hunting
, and cutting firewood with his brothers. His greatest enjoyment came from
watching his three grandchildren play and spending time with his family. He attended
Mill Run Grace Brethren Church in Westernport.

His family would like to thank all the staff at WMHS ER and lCU for their wonderful care
and support.
