Anna Genevieve Broadwater, 92, formerly of Tacoma Drive, Barton, died Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing. Born on May 17, 1925 in Barton she was the daughter of the late George Edward Crawford and Mary Ann (Klipstein) Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Broadwater on February 23, 2008, brothers, George, Wesley, Frank, Joseph, Sherman and Marshall Crawford and sisters, Jenny Groves, Mary Clark, Sarah Symons and Lillian Martin and daughter-in-law, Kathy Broadwater.

 She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Anna was a graduate of Central High School; she spent most of her life as a homemaker but for a short time she also assisted teachers at Westernport Elementary School. She loved playing music on the guitar and was the life of the party.

She is survived by two children, Wayne Lewis Broadwater of Moscow and daughter Mary Anna Llewellyn and husband Duane of Barton; five grandchildren, Wayne Broadwater, Jr., Lucinda Whiteman, Joseph Broadwater, Dawn Bice and Reese Llewellyn; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. George Loar officiating. Interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

maryann and wayne I am deeply sorry for your loss visit ann last time I was home and was so glad she knew who I was and even rememberd me looseing Eugene I will always remember her as being full of life and love for family she was a wonderful ladie and will never be forgotten my love and thoughts and prayers to you both and your familys at this time love Dorothy and family
