Wendell Leroy Wiland, 77, of Woodsview Drive, Frostburg died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Sterling Care Frostburg Village. Born on May 15, 1941 in Garrett County, he was the son of the late Henry Wiland and Beulah (Metz) Wiland.

He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church, Ellerslie. He had worked as a mechanic and a carpenter.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Susan Jane Wiland; five children Macie Cooper and husband Mark of Chase, MD, Tammy Duvall and husband Kenneth of Frostburg, Tina Hix and husband Alan of Conowingo, MD, Dawn Kojack and husband Steve of Perryville, MD and Joseph Wiland and Tammy Ayers of Lonaconing; eight grandchildren Corey Cooper, Jennifer Bigamon, Stephanie Elliott, David Neff, Steve Kojack, Sara Sivic, Kyle Kojack and Daphne Ayers; six great-grandchildren Timothy Dolan, Ariana Bigamon, Nevaeh Bigamon, Marlana Guill, Coleman Guill and Lonnie Sivic; two sisters Jean Kimery of Baltimore and Karen Sines of Finzel; one brother Charles Wiland; three half-sisters Juanita, Wanda and Sandy and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Greg Miller officiating. Interment will be held at the Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, New Germany, MD.
